VinFast Service
High-Voltage Battery & Charging
Battery health reports, thermal system inspection and charging diagnostics by technicians trained for high-voltage work.
The high-voltage battery is the most valuable part of your VinFast, and the charging system is how you live with it every day. Our technicians are trained and equipped for high-voltage work, so this is where the difference between a general repair shop and a VinFast service department is most obvious.
We read battery health data with VinFast diagnostic tools, inspect the thermal management system that keeps the pack in its safe temperature range, and diagnose charging problems whether they show up at home, at a public station, or as a warning on the display.
What is included
- Battery state-of-health report from VinFast diagnostic tools
- High-voltage system isolation and connector inspection
- Battery coolant level and thermal management check
- On-board charger and charge-port inspection
- Charging fault diagnosis for home, Level 2 and DC fast charging
- Warranty assessment and claim handling when a fault is covered
When to schedule it
Book a battery and charging visit if the car charges slower than usual, stops charging early, shows a battery or charging warning, or if the range estimate drops sharply without a change in how you drive. A health report is also worth having before a long trip or if you are considering selling or trading the car.
Why it matters on an electric vehicle
High-voltage work needs specific training, insulated tools and procedures that a general shop does not have, and mistakes are dangerous. A VinFast service department also has access to the battery data and warranty processes needed to resolve a real fault rather than guess at it.
Common questions
Can you tell me the health of my battery?
Yes. VinFast diagnostic tools report the battery's state of health, and we give you the result in plain language along with anything the data suggests you should watch.
My car charges slowly at home. Is that the car or the charger?
It can be either, or the wiring behind the charger. We check the car's charge port, on-board charger and charging logs first, then tell you what to have an electrician verify if the car checks out.
Is battery repair covered by warranty?
VinFast's warranty covers the high-voltage battery under terms VinFast sets for each model and model year. We assess the fault, check coverage and handle the claim with VinFast when it applies.
